27 Jun Aisha Sarwari to Join Jazz as Director Communications
Aisha Sarwari, a columnist and author, is joining Jazz as Director Communications, ProPakistani has confirmed with sources.
Ms. Sarwari will head Corporate Communications & Sustainability functions at the company starting August 30th, 2018 and will report to Mr. Ali Naseer, Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer at Jazz.

Jazz didn’t confirm the appointment officially, however, our sources have confirmed the news adding that Aisha Sarwari has also accepted Jazz’s offer.
Aisha Sarwari will be replacing Anjum Rahman, who resigned from her position back in March 2018.
She is joining Jazz at a time when company is aggressively perusing a digitalization drive across its whole network.
The company is currently challenged by the uncertain future of VEON, a flagship product that Jazz — and other arms in the group — are adopting with the aim to replace Whatsapp, Facebook and PayPal.
According to Aisha Sarwari’s LinkedIn profile, she brings along 15 years of experience in communications and journalism.
She has written over 300 columns and news reports for Express Tribune, Daily Times and Dawn.
Aisha has also authored a book on feminism.
She is a Dean’s Scholar from San Jose State University, California in Media and Communication with a minor in Business Administration.
